In 1975, leading textile doyenne Asha Sarabhai started the Raag workshops with the aim to bring strong attention to the care and quality of fashion and textiles in India. The result? Beautifully simple clothes that drew upon our rich textile traditions but still remained contemporary. The response? A selection of Raag’s clothes are a part of the permanent collection of London’s V&A Museum.
For the first time in India, they will now be available through Beej, a platform for beautiful, simple and honest products. This pop up will include coats, jackets, dresses, and more from the Raag archives, including The Kora Collection, made entirely from natural, unbleached, and undyed fabrics.
Available on August 11 and 12 at Bungalow Eight in Mumbai. Prices start from Rs 4,000
