In between getting married in front of the most A-list wedding guest list ever and rebranding the menopause, Gwyneth Paltrow gave us a sneak peek of her until-then secret wedding dress, and it was, to quote her, ‘a dress that defies adjectives’.
The actress wore a custom Valentino Couture dress, by Pierpaolo Piccioli, which didn’t come as too much of a surprise as he is a good firend of the bride and groom.
The romantic dress featured an A-line skirt, cut-out back, cap sleeves, and lots of lace.
She kept the rest of her bridal look very minimal, wearing only a simple veil, and her engagement and wedding rings.
Gwyneth shared this picture of herself and new husband Brad Falchuk walking down the aisle after exchanging vows, and the pair looked understandably delighted.
Alongside it, she wrote, ‘Took me a minute to get it together, but at long last, for those who have requested, a little look inside the best day of our lives.’
She also shared lots more wedding pictures on Goop, which you can see here. Her bridesmaids, her daughter Apple and Brad’s daughter Isabella kept the white theme going in strapless Monique Lhuillier gowns which complemented Gwyneth’s dress beautifully.
Meanwhile, the groom and groomsmen wore Tom Ford.
