Crocs and Benefit Cosmetics Released Glittery Jelly Sandals That Are So 2000s!

Crocs is back at it again with yet another covetable collaboration. In the past, the footwear brand has teamed up with designers ranging from Balenciaga to Christopher Kane. This time, Crocs is turning its attention to the beauty sector with Benefit Cosmetics. The uber-nostalgic collection will come in two iconic styles, the Crocs Classic Clog ($70) and the Crocs Classic Sandal ($50). Benefit Cosmetics has given the shoes a glittery makeover that will take you back to the early 2000s. The pink styles come with Jibbitz charms that include a compact mirror! How cool is that? Crocs and Benefit have also announced a TikTok challenge, called the #BenefitofCrocsChallenge, to see how you do your makeup routine while wearing Crocs on your hands. If you participate on or before July 20 and win, ...

Zoë Kravitz Advising Channing Tatum to Never Wear Crocs Again Is History in the Making

Image Source: Getty / Dimitrios Kambouris / Albert L. Ortega Like most great partnerships, Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum's began with a confrontation about Crocs. The unexpected duo recently spoke with Deadline about Zoë's forthcoming directorial debut, Pussy Island: a thriller about a cocktail waitress's ill-fated trip to the private island of a shadowy tech mogul, played by Tatum. (First of all, yes.) During the interview, however, Zoë and Channing shared a rather remarkable anecdote from their first time meeting. (Remarkable to me, at least.) "I was just trying to be a good friend, Chan." "When someone can just come out and tell me I should not be wearing Crocs, and is so adamant about it, she completely convinced me and I never wear Crocs anymore," Channing said. "I was just trying...

Nicki Minaj and Post Malone Are Just a Few of the Celebs Who Love to Wear Crocs

Crocs are one shoe trend that is hit or miss for many, but the sandals are most definitely having a moment right now. We've seen so many of our favorite celebrities not only wear them outside but also team up with the brand for collaborations. We're still not over Bad Bunny's glow-in-the-dark Crocs, which sold out in minutes. Most recently, Grammy award-winning artist and DJ Diplo partnered with Crocs to give us a glow-in-the-dark, mushroom-adorned pair, but that's not all. Luxury brands and designers like Balenciaga and Christopher Kane have teamed up with the footwear brand to create runway-worthy pieces as well. If you're wondering which of your favorite A-listers have worn their Crocs, we're breaking it down for you. Nicki Minaj actually bedazzled her pink Crocs with Chanel jewels! ...

Lena Waithe's Yeezy Crocs Are the Unsung Hero of Master of None Season 3

The third season of Master of None opens with Lena Waithe's Air Jordan 1s prominently displayed, and her footwear remains front and center for the duration of the narrative. Apart from her vast sneaker collection, the Emmy Award-winning actress, who plays the lesbian author Denise in the hit Netflix series, sports Gucci slides and the much-ballyhooed Yeezy Foam Runners - dubbed "Yeezy Crocs" due to their uncanny resemblance to the ubiquitous rubber clog - throughout the five episodes. Denise and her partner, Alicia (Naomi Ackie) are the stars of the show this go-around, which takes place in a bucolic country home in upstate New York. Though miles away from city life, each character has her own distinct, carefully curated style: Denise channels classic hip-hop, while Alicia is more ecle...

Balenciaga x Crocs Stiletto Clogs Have Arrived

Does the world really need a stiletto Croc? Doesn’t matter — it’s here, courtesy of a new Balenciaga x Crocs collaboration. Yep, you read that right. Paris-based fashion house Balenciaga has teamed up with everyone’s favourite foam slip-on shoe brand Crocs to give us a stiletto clog that is, if nothing else, one of a kind. The shoe was unveiled at Balenciaga’s Spring 2022 presentation on June 6. The collection, dubbed “Balenciaga Clones,” featured a few other pieces from the house’s collab with Crocs including platform rain boots Crocs. This is the second partnership between the two brands, appropriately titled “Balenciaga Crocs 2.0.” The presentation (and brand crossover) comes a few months after Balenciaga was “hacked” by Gucci when it showed Balenciaga-branded piece...

People Are Really Mad About the New Balenciaga Crocs, but I'm Not Afraid of an Ugly Shoe

If you thought the Balenciaga Platform Crocs of 2017 were um, unexpected, brace yourself for the brands' latest collaboration. The luxury fashion house recently debuted its spring 2022 collection featuring Balenciaga Crocs 2.0. This time, the popular clogs are in the form of heeled mules and chunky rain boots. And while the internet is unsurprisingly in an uproar over the collection, I have to admit, I'm intrigued. After all, those sky-high platform clogs sold out in pre-orders. I haven't worn Crocs since the fifth grade (and even then, I wore them, like, to the pool), so I have yet to jump on the resurgence, but the mules have certainly caught my attention. Sure, they're ugly, but so were dad sneakers and Birkenstocks, until society deemed them cool again. Personally, I'm envisioning t...
